Installation: Our installation experts will work with you to design the layout of your custom hardwood floor. Refinishing: From the moment the team arrives, our trained, courteous professionals work to ensure that your restoration project is effortless for you. The team leader will work directly with you and explain every step of the job, seal off other rooms to contain the mess, and mix stains to create a custom color, if you desire.

Here's What We Do

  • Your floor is sanded three passes from 30-grit to a fine 100-grit
  • We use the dust from your floor to form a custom putty to fill any cracks
  • We will apply a standard stain color of your choice, or we'll create one to match your decor
  • We will demo the stain choices in a small area on your actual floor, so you can be sure of your color choice
  • We recommend three coats of the industry's premier polyurethane to protect your investment

Renovation: Our renovation process is a repeat of the final stage of the sanding and refinishing project. Your high traffic areas will wear faster than other parts of Click to view large size picture . . .your floor. We can periodically return and re-apply a coat of polyurethane to enhance the durability of your floor's finish. This simple, one-day-per-coat process is less intrusive, and significantly less messy, than a complete restoration project.

Here's What We Do

  • Clean the floor with mineral spirits and steel wool, using a floor buffing machine, to remove dirt and chemical cleaning agents
  • Thoroughly dry the floor using special no-scratch pads
  • Lightly scuff the surface of the existing polyurethane to allow the new coat to adhere
  • Vacuum the floor
  • Apply a new coat of polyurethane
